About Me

After graduating university with a degree in accounting and finance, I found myself milking on a local farm alongside my 9-5 office job. It was here I found my passion for farming and within 6 months I had moved to working on the farm full time. In addition to rearing the youngstock, my role encompassed: updating, organising and maintaining farm management systems, ensuring compliance for farm assurance and taking the lead in inspections. 

At this point I realised that I was really interested in the wider aspects of farming and applied for a place on the Goodall Agri-Development Pathway. Following a successful interview process I was selected to take part in this unique training opportunity. Which develops the knowledge and skills of young people in agriculture. 

Having completed all 5 of the IAgSA (Institute of Agricultural Secretaries and Administrators) courses combined with the confidence I gained from the Goodall Pathway I felt ready to set up my own business in farm administration.
